The History of Pontevedra

           In 1853, the town Pontevedra was established at the present site of Barangay Sublangon. Formerly this town was a part of Panay, being the first settlement in the province of Capiz. Only in the year 1853 when General Crespo passed a decree making it independent town from Panay. Three years after, the town leaders decided to transfer the Poblacion to its present site because of the accessibility to the mouth of the big and navigable Agbalo river. The natives of the town call the place “Caguyuman”, a term descriptive of the place of ants or “ant hill”. This has been so because during that time the market days of the town attracted very large number of people from neighboring town and far away places. These people came to town like swarm of ants, on foot, bullcarts in bancas and sailboats. Hence the name was “Caguyuman” The name was changed to Pontevedra when the town has its own independent parish. That was 24 years later, after the town was established through the request of General Mariones. The request was granted two years after and Father Gregorio Hermida was the first Spanish Friar to take charge of the town parish. This Spanish Friar found the stiking resenblance of the town with that of his hometown in Pontevedra, spain. Henceforth through his influences the town was named PONTEVEDRA.

           Captivating Capiz-PONTEVEDRA MUNICIPALITY In history as of this present time, according to the people there, Pontevedra before known  as“CAGUYUMAN” meaning a group of people. Because during the day of monday and friday time ago until now people from their defferent Barangays, are going to the market on that days. Bringing their products and exchanging for others products. Like, dried fish, fresh fish, shrimps, crabs, other sea shells and etc. The people who lived at the seas and pound’s “tubigan” exchange their products to the people who live in the farm “patag”. Like leafy vegetables, squash, beans, okra and other vegetables found in the farm here in Capiz and also different fruits like bananas, guava, jackfruit, papaya, melon and other seasonal fruits. The market will become crowded on that days, monday and friday.The municipality of Pontevedra is rich in land and agricultural resources; its relatively flat and hillylands is good for farm products from rice, sugarcane and corn. On the other hand, its coastal area produces majority of cultured-aqua products in the province. To date, Pontevedra is being identified as one of the District Agro-Industrial Centers (DAICs) in the Province of Capiz with confirmation of the Regional Development Council VI.

            According to the census they have a lot of people live at their 26 Barangays. Agbanog ,Agdalipe ,Ameligan ,Bailan ,Banate ,Bantigue ,Binuntucan ,Cabugao ,Gabuc (Caugiat)Guba ,Hipona ,Intungcan ,Jolongajog Lantangan which Maribert Inland Resort located, Linampongan ,Malag-it ,Manapao ,Ilawod (Pob.) ,Ilaya (Pob.) ,Rizal ,San Pedro ,Solo ,Sublangon ,Tabuc ,Tacas ,Yatinga.

            The Municipality of Pontevedra celebrates the “Guyumguyuman Festival during the month of May. There purpose is to promote and exhibit their defferent products and most the seafoods in their municipality.Capiz is said as a seafood capital of the Philippines and Municipality of Pontevedra is the part of it! Theres a lot of products from seas, all sea shells and big fresh fishes, crabs different kinds of shrimps octopus etc. They have also places that could attract for their visitors or tourist as well.They have many beautiful beaches that are located in defferent place in pontevedra. You ca enjoy watching the beauty of natural resources like trees, at the seas side and rivers. Pontevedra also have a beautiful and unique resort named “VILLA CONSORCIA” the located at the malag-it Pontevedra capiz.  

              From the main city of roxas you can travel  45 min. to pontevedra municipality. But before  you would pass at the Municipality of PAN-AY till  you can reach the place of (Pontevedra) for almost 25-30 min. only.  There are hearsay that at the back of the Santa Monica Parish Church at PANAY MUNICIPALITY there would be a place a lotted for statues, these statues are for expressing the Historical events that happened in the past. Hoping this hearsay will be implemented to attract more tourists respectively. But it depends at the capacity of the vehicle, you can ride in a motorcycle,tricycle,jeepney and car. While for the watery place of Pontevedra you can travel by a motorboat.

             They have 2 public secondary school and 2 private schools for their education and 1 public hospital. For their medication.

PONTEVEDRA

Capiz is abundant with seafood found on its rich marine fishing ground. Savor the taste of mouth watering, tempting, fresh, safe, yummy, plentiful and cheap seafood, such as oysters or "talaba", clams, mussel, greenshell or "tahong"," angel wings or "diwal", milk-fish or "bangrus", king crab or "alimango", blue crab or "kasag", shrimp or "pasayan", prawn or "lukon", squid, tangigue, scallops, seaweeds or "gulaman", lobster and Lapu-lapu.

       Pontevedra is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Capiz, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 40,103 people in 7,673 households.

Pontevedra is politically subdivided into 26 barangays.

Lantangan is the barangay  which the Maribert Inland Resort located.Before reaching President Roxaz Capiz and about 30 minutes drive from roxaz city airport.

Lebanon: An Unforgetable Country

         February 10, 2011 the year when I was living the Philippines, I worried because of I wanted to change my environment. I  work there as an OFW for three years from Philippines I traveled for almost 24 hours, I stopped over in two countries which are Malaysia and Dubai.

         In Malaysia for almost one night. The said country is amazing and has a tourist spot like also in the Philippines; Malaysia has beautiful beaches and more in resorts like Maribert Inland Resort which customers can relax and enjoy their vacation.

         Dubai is the country which has more beautiful places like dessert, malls this country is one of the most beautiful country in Middle East, I saw many Arab people wearing a long dress and scarp in their head (Muslim).

After three hour’s I’ll reaching Lebanon my unforgettable place for three years I spend my time together my employer with their three lovable and handsome babies ( Elias, Jean luc and Mario) my lovable babies. Lebanon has a beautiful Country like Philippines there’s also a tourist spot like beach, mountains and resort that can spend your time together with love one, families and friends like Maribert Inland Resort.

        Lebanon is one of the Country that my first time to experience a picnic together with my employer and their family, the mountain where we held picnic has a beautiful ambiance and natural environment there is a lake with clean and cold water around of that lake has many trees and sheep.

STUDENT'S

          As a student we need to do our tasks every day, we wanted to wake up very early to go to our school; we wanted to spend our time in listening to our instructors or teacher. But as a student’s we need to sacrifice ourselves to reach our ambition because students believe that “Education is the key to success”. 

          From high school until college we wanted to face all the trials that happen in our life especially financial for those who belong in lowest family as a student all trials is happening to me but because of my dreams trials is not a hindrance in our studies we need to face it in order to reach or afford our dreams. 

         We need to break it in our way in order to walk it straightly, as a student’s in college we face the trials in that way we can move in our obligation as a student. College life is the most worst because it is very serious this is the last step to come up all of our dreams. 

         As College students I encountered also the biggest trial that sometimes I need to arrest myself a stress and problems. But in behalf of all I would like to thank to myself for being strong to face the trials that happen in my life especially for my thesis project entitled A Proposed Website for Maribert Inland Resort. I also thankful for everybody who helping me and most especially to God for giving everything to me.

Resort in Capiz

     Resort known as relaxing place for everybody needs a peaceful life and ease pain reliver. Capiz has contains more beaches and resort one of this is Maribert Inland  Resort which located at Brgy.Lantangan Pontevedra Capiz it is the newest establishment in Capiz, especially in that place.

     Maribert Inland Resort has many facilities like garden, reception hall,swimming pool and many more. The said resort is very beatiful around it there is a fish pond before you enter in resort has a  rice field and small lake, in intance area you feel the freshness of air from their land scape garden, at the right side a reception hall with beautful white paint around of this hall their is a dancing trees, after that the swimming pool where in beside of this is cottages.

        It is very beautiful resort, I wish it to my self that time will come i spend my vacation together with my family and friends  either my special friend in this resort.I believe that i can!hope next valentine I spend the season of love their.

INTRODUCTION

Background of the project

            A computer is a system of hardware which data (observation, facts, concepts) in prescribed from (in a Specified sequence) and which could process the data according to set of instruction that are fed into it and supply the results of the processing in a specified format.

Computer are used in different establishment especially Schools. Some Schools are using computers especially their enrollment process. They are using computerized system and faster work as information, this in turn assist computer user in decision making, or as signals to control automatically further machine a process or store the result of primary/secondary storage for safekeeping or later reuse.

Website is a collection of networks that created and maintained by a company, a university or college, a government agency, or even individuals.

The Maribert Inland Resort is located at Lantangan, Pontevedra, Capiz  before reaching President Roxas Capiz is one of the most beautiful and new place for gathering in Capiz. It offers a lot of facilities where everybody can enjoy, relax and spend their precious moment with their families, love ones and friends. The resort has its facilities like their inviting swimming pool, their amazing garden they can ease people’s pain whenever their walking or strolling.

Scope and Delimitation of the Project

Scope

     The scope of our study is to implement a designed for a website.  This website will be convenient and for the reservation status such as the following: 

·   Our website is covering the information of the resort as a name, location or place. The way of reservation.

·     Our website is also for the design implement and giving correct information to the costumers. 

Delimitation

     The limitation of our study is the following: 

·    It never covered the payment transaction. 

·    It never covered the information about the owner, the management and the staff of the resort.

·     It never covered the cost of the facilities of the resort.
